Parent/child classes - Gymnastics for toddlersFrom 4 to 36 months
we start with the basic movements. Then comes walking, jumping, balancing and coordination of movements. The children don't follow this course alone: mummy or daddy are there with them and participate actively. When they are 3 years old, children learn to be independent and follow classes without their parents. They're learning fast now, and their motor skills are improving by the day! Exercises and games enable them to master basic gymnastic movements while progressively building their motor and physical skills. Children happily progress at their own speed without any competitive pressures. In addition to physical progress, emotional development is high on the agenda. Our sports activities for kids include a karate programme, which offers many benefits but, as always, The Little Gym® believes that learning should be a fun, positive experience. Our karate programme is strictly non-contact, non-competitive and includes gymnastics. The programme is low stress and loaded with music and laughter. We also teach basic blocks, punches and kicks while emphasizing a healthy attitude rather than absolute precision. Children learn concentration and focusing skills through fun and organized activities that are developmentally correct. Our summer and holiday camps offer three hours of fun and sports activities for kids. The specially developed camp curriculum combines physical fitness and play with arts, crafts and special events. Kids love to have their parties at The Little Gym®. Every party has the entire gym to itself, and includes plenty of music, movement, games and fun, created especially for each child.
