![]() Parent/child classes – Gymnastics for toddlers
From 4 to 36 monthsA child under 3 years old needs to explore the world, accompanied by their parents. During The Little Gym’s programmes of gymnastics for toddlers, mummy and daddy lead the way, encouraging and applauding their child.
Your child will discover a warm, colourful place, with music and a wide range of equipment to climb on and explore. They'll just LOVE it!!
Right from the start, our gymnastics for toddlers are oriented towards stimulating the senses and developing motor, emotional and perceptive skills. And as the children grow, our curriculum grows with them. They'll soon be running and jumping with joy! What's more, interaction between children is strongly encouraged. Independence and the capacity to listen grow.
From 4 to 9 months - Starting to growSecure in your arms, babies observe the world around them and rapidly become more alert. Already supporting themselves on their forearms and holds their head up ... They reach out to touch things with their hands and want to really be on the move all the time!
Our gymnastics for toddlers’ programmes include qualified instructors, who guide parents and children in order to discover the basic motor skills. Movements that stimulate your child are encouraged, while those that do not are avoided. With music and rhythm, your child awakens to the outside world.
From 10 to 18 months - A major step forward"Learning to walk? Hmmm, that's not so easy! But I know I've got to do it. It's a vital step on the road to independence. Great! And with mummy and daddy there to help me, I can have fun as I learn."
At The Little Gym®, the gymnastic for toddlers’ classes are dynamic and playful. They stimulate the child's body and mind, with games, songs and gymnastics and teach the little ones to walk, run, and jump, as well as do forward rolls on the ground and on the bar. It's all about learning to control their body!
From 19 to 30 months - Assurance and reassuranceThis is when we start to see self confidence appear. Your child becomes more skilful and likes to copy the others. They watch you and the other children and parents. Imagination plays a vital role.
Your child is quietly getting ready for pre-school now. With games, obstacle courses, singing, gymnastics and exercises that develop their attention span and listening skills, we prepare your child for the next step.
From 30 to 36 months - School starts soonThe time has come to leave mummy and daddy, and discover a new world: school. To ensure that this major transition happens smoothly, The Little Gym® focuses on cooperative games, obstacle courses, singing, gymnastics and listening exercises... to continue building your child's independence.
